Sunnybrook Wedding Venue Photographs

As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing some truly special moments over the years. But there was something particularly heartwarming about Ali and Adian’s Sunnybrook wedding, a historic home nestled onto the side of a mountain in Roanoke, VA.

From the moment my team and I met them at the rehearsal the night before their Sunnybrook wedding, we were greeted with such kindness and warmth by Ali, Adian, and their families. We immediately felt like part of the family, and it set the tone for a weekend full of love and connection.

Even though they live in Charlottesville, Ali, and Adian have always loved the Roanoke area. And with both sets of parents in the process of moving to Smith Mountain Lake, it felt like the perfect location for their Sunnybrook wedding. And what a perfect weekend it was! The fall colors were in full effect, the sky was crystal clear, and there was a certain magic in the air.

Sunnybrook was a breathtaking venue that perfectly captured the charm and beauty of the Roanoke area. But what really made this Sunnybrook wedding special was the people. Ali, Adian and their families exuded so much love, joy, and kindness throughout the entire weekend. It was an honor to capture their special day and witness their deep connections with each other and their loved ones.

One of my favorite moments from the Sunnybrook wedding was the reception, which was an absolute blast. The groomsmen treated us all to a choreographed dance that they had learned that morning, and it was so much fun to watch.

But what really stood out was when Ali and Adian took a moment during the reception to clear the dance floor for one of their friends. This friend had not been able to have a traditional wedding due to COVID, so Ali and Adian wanted to give them a chance to finally have their first dance. It was such a sweet and selfless moment, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

Throughout the day, I had the opportunity to capture so many special moments between Ali and Adian. Their love was palpable, and it was evident how much they are loved by their friends and family- and how much they love eacother.
