Union Station Washington DC
Get ready for a real treat! In this blog post, I’m excited to share a few extra special Washington DC couples photos featuring two of my favorite people in the district: Tinsley and Will.
Tinsley and Will’s friendship began in 2019 when they both served on the production team at our church. However, it wasn’t until the pandemic hit that their bond truly blossomed. With limited social interaction available, Tinsley and Will were fortunate to be in the same Covid/quarantine bubble, which provided them with ample opportunity to hang out with their small group of friends. As they weathered the uncertainty and isolation of those early days of the pandemic, their shared love of books, became the foundation of their friendship.
Meanwhile, around the same time, Tinsley and I were both on the hunt for a new home in the city. Through a mutual friend from our church, Zara, we connected and decided to join forces in our search. At the first house tour, we quickly discovered our shared interests in musical theater, dogs, and mid-2000s – 2010’s pop culture references. On move-in day, we had extra help from Will, who quickly became a regular visitor to our little row house.
Oh, the excitement when Tinsley and Will finally started dating at the end of 2021 was indescribable! As their close friends, we had all been rooting for them and couldn’t be happier to see them take that step. As their close friends, we’ve had a front-row seat to their love story- It’s been wonderful to witness how their relationship has blossomed, from climbing dates to a trip to Thailand and their shared love of books.
Together, Tinsley and Will are like wine and cheese – both individually great – but exponentially better when they are together. It’s been a privilege to see the love between them grow.
A few weeks ago, I finally got them in front of my camera for a couple of sessions at Union Station!!
THIS DIP! Dips are hard poses for most couples – and it takes a few tries and coaching to get it right. However, Tinsley and Will NAILED IT on the first try!
They stopped the foot traffic in the bustling train station, and a nearby police officer started cheering.
