Where to start with Olivia and Chris’s stunning Keswick Vineyard wedding day? I could start by telling you about how beautiful her dress was or how absolutely stunning their wedding venue, Keswick Vineyards. But what really made this day special? Chris and Olivia. These two were made for each other and this day was really about them as they start of the next chapter of their lives together!
Olivia and Chris met at Washington College, where they were both freshmen on the Crew Team. They were set up by two of their teammates, Jaclyn and John, at a group dinner at the local Mexican restaurant. Their close friends Jaclyn and John got them to sit next to each other at dinner, and they just clicked almost immediately. They have been together ever since!
Classic Summer Winery Wedding
The day started in the manor guest house- which has been converted into getting-ready suites for couples who get married on the property. Olivia and the bridesmaids got ready in the bridal suite. Next door the groom’s party got ready (aka played pool and hung out in the Library- sometimes the groom’s party has it so easy 😂.)
After exchanging gifts with their moms, it was time for Olivia’s first look at her dad- the first of many tearful moments that day! She had a custom tie made- with a photo of the two of them tucked inside. After the tears had dried, she headed to the nearby carriage house for the first look with Chris!
Virginia Keswick vineyards weddings
The wedding ceremony took place in the shadow of mansion, overlooking Keswick vineyards and framed by the mountains in in the back ground. It was on overcast day, and was absolutely breathtaking.
Classic Charlottesville Winery Wedding
Following the ceremony, the guest all headed to the garden for cocktail hour- where they were serenaded by a string trio. Then it was time for to the neighboring sailcloth tent for the reception.
After everyone had danced and laughed to their heart’s content, everyone returned to the front of the manor at Keswick Vineyards for their sparkler send off- the perfect ending to a magical wedding.

The best man ALSO happened to be a professional magician. Which of course means that during the reception he pulled out a deck of cards to do a few magic tricks for everyone!
