The Clubhouse At Baywood Wedding

Congratulations, Paige and Shane! They tied the knot on a drop-dead beautiful wedding day at The Clubhouse at Baywood in August. Paige, Shane, and I met when I photographed their best friends, Falyn and Zak, Wedding at The Whist Club in 2019. They are the type of couple who is easy to be around, and within the first 15 minutes of the meeting, it felt like we had known each other forever. During their engagement session, Paige and I bonded over our mutual love of the Jonas Brothers.

From start to finish, Paige and Shane where so much fun to work wokr with. They were absolutely full of excitement and ready to be married. I loved every minute of working together, and I’m honored that they asked me to capture such a special day for them! I can’t wait for you to see their incredible ceremony along the water and epic sunset portraits. This was truly a wedding day for the books!

Baywood Events

If you’ve never been to the Club at Baywood, it is STUNNING. The Clu house at Baywood is nestled into a resort-style community in Rehobath, Delaware. The grounds, golf course, and surrounding homes are beautifully designed, with rolling hills and flower-lined bridges. It was the perfect backdrop for their Summer Clubhouse At Baywood Wedding. The event team at the Clubhouse is world-class and was so helpful in getting everyone around the resort to various locations on the golf cart fleet.

Paige and Shane married on the green, in the shadow of the Clubhouse and overlooking the 18th hole. They were married by Paige’s aunt in a ceremony full of laughter- and quite a few tears. Looking around during the ceremony, at the faces of the friends and family who were gathered to celebrate them, you could see how beloved the two of them are by their friends and family.

After the ceremony, Paige shared just how much FUN it was to be up there, marrying her best friend, surrounded by all of the essential people in their lives. Exactly what a wedding day should feel like!! She was g owing.

The Clubhouse at Baywood Wedding Photos

The Clubhouse has a beautiful porch overlooking the ceremony site and 18th hole- perfect for cocktail hour and passed orderves before the guests head upstairs to the reception space.

The reception space at Baywood is a stunning ballroom on top of the Clubhouse, with a wall of windows overlooking the golf course and surrounding neighborhood. It was the perfect vantage point to watch the sun slowly set as the party continued.

During their reception, we did sneak out with Paige and Shane for iconic sunset portraits around the grounds. It provided the perfect opportunity for them to have some quiet time to celebrate and be together. The result shots were MAGIC- it was worth sneaking out during dinner for these iconic shots.

If there is on thing you should know about their friends and family (other than how kind and welcoming they are) – is that they know who to get down! From the opening of the dance floor through to the end of the night, the dance floor was packed! It was amazing! At the end of the night, Paige and Shane had a private last dance to the Jonas Brothers’ “Remember This,”- which was the perfect way to end the night.
