Planning their wedding was anything but easy for Shir and Trevor. Their original wedding date was early last spring- but between lockdowns, international travel restrictions almost preventing key family members attendance, then a surprise rain storm on their wedding day, it has been quite a roller coaster! Last week it all finally came together in their perfect romantic garden wedding day! Complete with floral arrangements floating in the pool around the pool, a beautiful ceremony in the garden, and the Bistro lights lining their reception space.
Shir and Trevor’s story is truly like something straight out of a hallmark film. They met while sitting next to each other on a spirit airlines flight headed to Myrtle beach years ago. They hit it off almost immediately, and spent the entire flight down chatting and getting to know each other. Luckily they both happened to be booked on the same flight on the way home, where Shir passed him her ticket with her phone number on it! One of my favorite parts of the day was their ceremony, which they had interwoven with aspects of both of their faiths. of their ceremony was during the ceremony, when they took turns washing each other’s feet, followed by the ceremonial smashing off the Glass. It truly was beautiful to see how they combined both of their faiths to represent the commitment they are making to each other. After the ceremony, the guests all headed over to the tennis court, which had be converted in to a beautiful reception space to dance the night away!
