Congratulations to Rachel and Cody! They’re husband and wife after tying the knot in a beautiful spring wedding day at Londontown Gardens in Edgewater, Maryland. Rachel and Cody are high school sweethearts who have been together since they were 15. Their families have known each over forever, During dinner, both of their dads spoke about the early stages of Rachel and Cody’s relationship. They spoke about how they grew together, and how it became evident that this was something serious for them from early on. We loved hearing the story of how their relationship has grown over the years into this beautiful marriage.
Historic Londontown Gardens in Edgewater Maryland
After high school Rachel and Cody attended UMD, where they were active members of the Naval ROTC program. Many members of their wedding party and their officiant were a part of their ROTC unit. After the wedding day, Rachel was headed to Pensacola, Florida, where she is training to be a Naval Aviator. Cody had been commissioned as an Officer in the Marines and was off to Officer Training school.
Their summer wedding day at Londontown Gardens was a perfect celebration. Londontown Gardens is a gorgeous waterfront wedding venue overlooking the south river near Annapolis and has gorgeous options for the ceremony and reception! Rachel and Cody opted for a garden ceremony overlooking the South River, It was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony was officiated by one of their ROTC friends, and there was not a dry eye in the house.
