On a cold December day, Brooke and Cody met up with me for their downtown Annapolis engagement session. Firstly, the for the  half of their session, they opted for a casual date night style outfit. Changing into their next outfit, a sophisticated Black suit and long black dress with a statement necklace.  So classic, so timeless, and so them!

Initially Brooke had planned on wearing a gold sparkly dress from Rent the Runway– but decided at the last minute to go with this black dress instead, and I am here for it!

Brooke and Cody met in August 2017 , where Brooke was getting ready to start her first year, and Cody was in his second year teaching social studies at the same middle school just out side of Wilmington Delaware.

In November 2019, while on a walk with their three dogs, they went for a walk by the water with one of their friends. One of Cody and Brooke’s pups ran into the FREEZING water, getting Cody all wet and muddy. He pulled Brooke into the sun because he as drenched in the freezing water. Next thing she knew- much to her surprise, Cody got down on one knee to propose! Of course she said yes!
