Soléne Newborn Session

You may remember a few weeks ago when Dazhane’s Maternity session was featured on the blog! Last week I had the privilege of taking Soléne’s Newborn Photos! She is just so sweet, and her parents absolutely adore her! Her name is French, and means “with dignity” and “angel of the sun.” Dazhane knew that she wanted to give her daughter a French name, just like her mom gave to her. When Dazhane learned what Soléne meant, she knew it was perfect for her little angel and the wonderful light and happiness she brings to the world!

The best part of my job is that I get to tell people’s stories for them to have in years to come. This session especially meant so much to me. Dazhane, Harold and I have been friends since college- where Dazhane and I were roommates! They were always an amazing couple, and always bringing with them a timeless grace and poise that is rare. It has been such a treat to get see them grow into this new chapter of life as parents. Soléne just melts whenever her parents hold her, and it just is the sweetest thing I have ever seen!

Dazhane and Harold: I cannot thank you enough for trusting me to photograph your little family! It made my heart so happy getting to see you to become parents and to see you with your little girl. Soléne is so lucky to have you as her parents, and I cannot wait to see the joy-filled, poised, and genuine little girl she grows up to be.
