St. Andrew’s School Wedding, Wilmington Delaware

Congratulations to Ali and Aiden! Their gorgeous Saint Andrews School wedding in Middletown Deleware was full of intentional family moments – a private boarding school in the Deleware countryside. The campus is made up of beautiful stone buildings alongside a peaceful river.

Saint Andrews is actually where they filmed the 1989 Robin Williams classic “The Dead Poets Society” so it was special to explore the campus. In fact, you may recognize the space that Ali got ready in! It’s the room where the famous “O Captain, my Captain” speech happened!

From start to finish, the entire day was infused with heirloom details and elements of their family’s legacy. My favorite detail was the robe that Ali wore, which was made from her mother’s wedding gown. Ali and Aiden chose a sage green, navy, and rose gold color palette that I’m still obsessed with. I can’t wait for you to see all of their gorgeous portraits!

Delaware Wedding Day

Ali and Aiden wed in the school’s chapel, which was just beautiful, and afterward, we began to explore the grounds for their portraits. Everything felt so romantic in front of the stone architecture of the school. I loved being with Ali and Aiden just minutes after being announced husband and wife. Ali and Aidan are just good, pure people. She was absolutely RADIANT, and Adain adores her. It’s so clear in every portrait how much they love each other.

Afterward, it was time for their reception! Ali’s family used to own a massive creamery on the Jersey shore, passed down by generations of dairy farmers. They no longer own the creamery, but as a homage to their family history, their 3 uncles put on their uniform from the creamery and scooped ice cream en lieu of cake.

Congratulations again, Ali and Aiden! Enjoy looking back through your beautiful wedding day at Saint Andrews!
