Hello there! Last weekend I had the privilege of heading to James Madison University for Sarah’s Senior session! James Madison is a BEAUTIFUL campus- with classic limestone buildings, with beautiful red roofs nestled around a gorgeous green at the heart of their Campus. On the green we even found a large rock to use for some of her portraits- which was perfect since Sarah is an Earth Sciences Major (cue the rock jokes) and President of the Geology club! Oh yea… and she has spent the last 2 summers as a National Park Ranger at Jewel Cave National Monument and at The Grand Canyon!
Sarah is the type of person who just exudes so much JOY, and an infectious enthusiasm for life, that you can not help but join in when you are around her!
This summer, in true Sarah fashion, she is embarking on an epic road trip across the east coast with her boyfriend (Mike) , her car (named Pickles) and a 1970s canoe strapped to the roof. They will travel all through the North East- from New York and Maine, to Canada, before making their way down south to Florida where she will begin an internship in Disney World.
Sanderson (Sarah)- Thank you for not only choosing me to be your photographer, but also for being such a rockin, life long friend! And I cannot wait to visit you at your next National Park! ????
They have a life-sized statue of James Madison himself on campus! Who knew he was so tiny?
Fun Fact: James Madison was the Forth President and ‘The Father of the Constitution’
