This wedding was a LONG time coming. Gemma and Andrew met when they were both students at Frostburg State University. They were both college Sophmore’s, and active members of their Greek organizations. and became friends after each other at various greek events around campus. Well, to Gemma they were just friends. For Andrew? It was love at first sight!
They stayed friends for years, it was not until after they graduation that they finally went on Saint Patricks day! It went pretty well, and soon one date became two, and then it just took off from there!
Gemma and her family are from Aberdeen, Scotland. While their families could not make it across the pond due to COVID restrictions, they still found ways to pay homage to her Scottish roots through out the day! The men all wore ties and pocket squares of The Sinclair Family Hunting Tartan.
The weather had been misting on and off through out the the day, so their wedding was moved indoors to one of the Manor at Silo Fall’s ball rooms. Andrew and Gemma decided that the first time they saw each other on their wedding day would be walking down the aisle- and it was such a sweet moment! There was not a dry eye in the room!
