Jamie and Michael are HUGE board game people. In fact, in their house they have a wall dedicated to their board game collection- which includes well over one hundred board games! The very first board game they ever played together? It is a game called “Pandemic.” Keep in mind, that both of these occurred long before anyone had ever heard of this thing called Covid 19. This game also happened to be where Michael hid the ring before proposing to Jamie.

It was almost fitting then, that a global pandemic would subsequently play such a big role in their wedding planning. Constantly shifting local, state, and cdc guidelines meant that we had a plan A, B and C. All things considered, and thanks to widely available COVID 19 vaccines- in the weeks leading up to the wedding, some of the restrictions were finally lifted! They were able to return to an almost normal plan for their wedding at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court in Baltimore.

On their wedding day, they each got ready with their wedding parties in suites at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court. Both overlooked the harbor, and we were treated to an almost 180 degree view of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, and Federal Hill. The mood in the getting suites was almost electric. Filled with nervous excitement, as they put on the finishing touches before heading down to the first look!
After, their wedding took place in the STUNNING ballroom at the Royal Sonesta in Baltimore. Featuring a stunning huppa accented with flowers, against a draped backdrop of white silk.

After getting ready, we all head down to the West Waterfront park across the street for their first look! If you are familiar with this section of Baltimore, you will know how busy it can be- especially on a warm weekend in May. Filled with tourists, locals relaxing by the water, kids playing in the grass, people running along the water- just to name a few.
Luckily, we were able to find a precious little garden just off the park, were we were able to have their intimate first look.

After their ketuba signing (the jewish marraige contract.) Both sets of parent came to join them. First, the bride and groom each ent to stand with their parents. They spoke of how proud they were of them, shared advice for them as they embark onto this new chapter of life with their new spouse. They prayed together over their marriage.
Then Jamie and Michael switched positions. Jamie went to stand with Michaels parents, and Michael went to stand with Jamies parents. Each set of parents welcomed them into the family, offered advice for them on their marriage to their son/daughter, and prayed with them on the marriage.
It truly such a genuine heartfelt moment, with tears all around.

For their guest book, they had their friends and family sign a game of Pandemic.
