Amalia and Ricky met 9 years ago, while they were working at a restaurant together. Last weekend they tied the knot in a beautiful intimate ceremony surrounded by their friends and family in their Londontown Gardens Wedding.
Londontown Gardens is a beautiful historic home located on the shore of the South River. As the name suggests, it is the home to a beautiful network of gardens, a historic home, and a banquet pavilion.
The weather had been calling for rain all day. However, not just a little rain, it was calling for torrential downpour for their wedding day. Not to worry though! I always travel with a large collection of clear umbrellas and a few other secret weapons for battling the rain on a wedding day. Thanks to a gap in the radar, and a little strategic timing, we were therefor still able to get all of the important outdoor photograph.
Amalia and Ricky decided not to do a first look with each other, but Amalia DID do an extra special first look with their son Cooper- and it was SO SO SWEET! My favorite part of the day would easily have been Amalia’s and Ricky’s expressions as she came down the aisle towards him. It has been an emotional day, but the moment that they made eye contact it was like everything else fell away, and it was just the two of them. You could see a wave of peace and happiness, wash over each of their faces.
After their first dance, Amalia and her bridesmaids surprised Ricky (and all of the guests) with a choreographed dance. They just learned the dance that morning, had been practicing it throughout the day and let me tell you- they a CRUSHED IT!!!
