I had been looking forward to Paula and Ed’s wedding ever since their engagement session in downtown Annapolis. Engagement sessions are an important part of the experience for Alexandra Kent Couples- because it allows us to practice working together before your wedding.
Their wedding was held at Turf Valley Resort in Elliott City. It was a cold, but beautiful November day. I was so impressed by Paula, Ed, and their bridal party- who seemed totally unaffected by the cold and biting wind. Paula and Ed were totally unaffected by the cold (it was so impressive!) I was a little concerned when we first got out there- I did not want them to freeze! Every time we asked them if they wanted to take a break to get warmed up, they would say that it was not that bad and they wanted to keep going! We were so impressed (seriously, what is your secret?)
When I walked into the Bridal suite, I immediately knew that it was going to be a great day. Paula and Ed where so excited to marry their best friend. Let me tell you, They. never. stopped. smiling. all. day. Their joy was INFECTIOUS, you could feel it radiating through their friends and family around them! The dance floor was packed all night as they all danced the night away.
Paula and Ed are two of the most down to earth people and were so welcoming. They made us feel like a part of their family.
These girls are ROCKSTARS- not only was it 40-something degrees, but it was also WINDY. You would never know though because they handled it like champions!
